Dr. Lee was graduated with an honours medical degree from Trinity College, University of Dublin, Ireland in June 2002. She subsequently completed her internship at one of the largest tertiary teaching hospital in Dublin (Adelaide and Meath Hospital) before arriving at Brisbane in late 2003 to further her training.
Dr. Lee always knew she wanted to pursue Obstetrics and Gynaecology as a specialty career. She commenced her specialist training in 2007. Dr. Lee has successfully completed her training and awarded the fellowship by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist (RANZCOG). During her extensive training in Queensland, Dr. Lee has worked at Logan Hospital, Mater Mother’s Hospital and Rockhampton Hospital, where she gained valuable experiences in managing both general and high risk pregnancies as well as general gynaecology.
Dr. Lee practices evidence-based medicine but at the same time, she understands that every woman have different needs. Dr. Lee will be able to provide the support and recommend the best practice to suit individual needs.
In addition, Dr. Lee also has a special interest in minimal invasive gynaecological surgery and performs advanced laparoscopic (key-hole) surgeries for benign gynaecological conditions.
As a doctor, Dr. Lee has a unique perspective coming from a multicultural background. Born and raised in Malaysia; she understands the needs of different cultures and she also communicates fluently in Mandarin and Cantonese.
